Champion
1969

Rudy Tassara begins his automotive career in Agentina. In addition to establishing his first business, Rudy becomes a recognized race car driver, winning many events in his native country. These successes give rise to the now-famous racing helmet logo of Champion Auto Repair.

1987

Rudy realizes his American dream and establishes his first automotive repair center in the United States. His customers begin to grow quickly because of his professional service and personal touch. The fact that many of his service technicians speak Spanish is also a big asset.

1992

Champion Auto Repair is formed and begins providing automotive repair services from it's location on Carlisle St. in Herndon, Virginia. Even though this facility is "off the beaten path," customers seek out Champion because it's a place they can trust.

2001

Champion Auto Repair moves to greatly expanded facilities at 45922 Old Ox Road in Sterling, Virginia. Champion is now one of the largest automotive service centers in Northern Virginia, and it's still growing! A new inspection inspection facility will be added in the first quarter of 2002.

2005

Rudy's son, Facundo 25 years old, graduate of George Mason University in 2004 opens a Body Shop right next to the Mechanic Shop to further help make Champion Auto a one stop garage.
